Adult Sunday School – 9:15 a.m. in the Rankin Room –  A Child is Born by Dr.  Amy-Jill Levine

Dr. Amy-Jill Levine is the Rabbi Stanley M. Kessler Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace, and University Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies Emerita and Mary Jane Werthan Professor of Jewish Studies Emerita, at Vanderbilt. The study explores the connections between ancient birth stories and the Nativity of Jesus, including the births of Isaac and Ishmael, Samson, and Samuel to reveal. The study will be led by Dr. David Fitz.

December 21 – Pageant practice, snack, and sharing pageant/lead worship at 11:00 a.m. service
