Due to extreme winter weather, YWCA Bradford is working with First Presbyterian Church of Bradford and City of Bradford Police to support individuals in need.
YWCA Bradford operates McKean County’s homeless shelter and will assist individuals who are in need of emergency shelter or support services. Community members are encouraged to contact YWCA Bradford’s Housing and Employment Services (HES) program for assistance by calling the hotline at:

First Presbyterian Church of Bradford will serve as a warming center for community members seeking relief from the dangerous cold.

Hours of operation:
Saturday, January 24th: Open until 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, January 25th: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Monday, January 26th: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
In addition, the City of Bradford Police Department and Bradford City Firefighters will provide transportation to individuals who need help reaching the warming center or accessing shelter services.
